MANY STYLES, MANY STYLES
Infinite shouts go to Complex magazine for putting my Missile Command compadre Chad Hugo in their “10 Most Stylish Hip-Hop Producers Right Now“ list. Rounding out the countdown are not only the usual suspects (Pharrell, Kanye, etc.), but also some surprises with Diplo and Chad’s Virginia neighbor, Lex Lugor, also making the cut. Still not sure why I’m not on the list, but I’ll just have to assume my inclusion was implied.
The indomitable Fool’s Gold label and Chicago heavy-hitter Kid Sister grace us with the long-awaited “Kiss & Tell” EP today, making good on the deal the team promised us years back when “Pro Nails” first hit. To make things extra-sweet, the first track (“Mickey”) is available as a free download, and is produced by none other than bass champions and D.Biltmore dawgs-for-life Nadastrom to boot. Perfect for working off those post-Thanksgiving pounds.

POINTS FOR STYLE
My absolute favorite person in the world is the new Style Editor at Baltimore magazine, America’s oldest “city” magazine (the first issue rolled off the press in 1907). Along with her duties manning the style desk, Hilary also is heading up the mag’s Talk Shop blog, which is currently running a great “31 Days for Gift Giving” feature, spotlighting great holiday gift ideas every day from Black Friday right up through Santa Claus day.
(Note: my girlfriend is the astonishingly beautiful girl smiling in the banner at the top, not the enthusiastic gentleman grinning on the right-hand side.)
